As part of this omni transformation journey, we are recruiting the role of a Senior Communications Specialist and Press Officer within our Customer Activation & Marketing department.

Job Description

On this journey we're all working together to create the best omni customer offer for our customers and as a senior Communications Specialist & Press Officer you will be a key player in making this happen. Together with the rest of the Customer Activation & Marketing team in the North European Region, you will work towards aligned and cross-functional goals, driving omni sales performance and customer centricity in all parts of your work.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Build trust and develop H&M’s general media picture on the Swedish market, and proactively pitch news from H&M in selected focus areas.
  • Own and drive complex communication projects with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Collaborate with the Nordic Communications Specialist & Press Officer team to ensure PR and communications goals are being reached.
  • Follow up and report on KPIs and objectives connected to PR and communications projects.
  • Responsible for owning internal communications tools such as newsletters, video creation, and managing the flow of communication across the business on a local level. Includes ownership of strategy for engaging colleagues through interesting and inspiring content through relevant channels.
  • Responsible for sharing business information with all internal stakeholders from the country, regional and global teams. Includes ensuring internal communication is in correct tone of voice through all channels.

  • You have strong project management skills and are used to working with multiple stakeholders in a fast paced environment.
  • You have a strong commercial focus and are insight and data driven.
  • You have a formal education within Communications and/or Marketing, and at least 7 5 years’ experience from similar positions within PR/Communications.
  • You have experience in Media Relations, Corporate PR, Internal and Crisis Communication.
  • It is meriting if you can demonstrate competence within digital/tech and omni ways of working.
  • You have excellent communication skills, including fluent written and spoken Swedish and English.
